Role Play Information

Girls that test positive to wear the A'dam bracelet will be trained to become Sul'dam. She will be paired with existing Sul'dam who will act as a mentor and trainer before she is allowed to pair with a damane unsupervised.

The following RP's must be done to become a Sul'dam.

Sul'dam lesson one: A new path

The future Sul'dam is tested and found positive to wear the bracelet. She is taken from her family and coupled with an existing Sul'dam who becomes her teacher and mentor. She learns about her new position in life, the rules and privileges that dominate a Sul'dam's life and learns the protocols needed to interact with the Blood and various other situations a Sul'dam can find herself in.

Sul'dam lesson two: The One Power

The future Sul'dam receives lessons in the theory of the One Power. She learns about the five elements and all the things that can be done by the One Power through the use of a damane. She learns about the potential strength and weaknesses in the One Power as well as any potential dangers and how to handle them.

Sul'dam lesson three: Handling a damane

The future Sul'dam learns how to handle a damane properly. These lessons go from the moment a damane is leashed to using her in battle or other situations. She will learn the full use of the A'dam in all its ways.

Sul'dam lesson four: Field practice

The last stage of a Sul'dam's training is the actual pairing with  damane under the supervision of an experienced Sul'dam. She will then be assessed and, if receiving a positive report, will graduate to full Sul'dam status.

    Once these lessons are finished, the Sul'dam can herself become an IC trainer/mentor to other new Sul'dam in training

    Players who finish these lessons are eligible to become Training Staff in the Seanchan Guild.
        Send a private message to the FL Staff with your motivation for the position.
        Make sure you read the OOC Staff conditions so that you know what will be expected of you.

To become a Der'Sul'dam, the following conditions must be met:

    You can not bio your character into the position of a Der'Sul'dam. She must go through the Sul'dam stages before she can become a Der'Sul'dam.

    Der'Sul'dam have a minimum of 5 years experience as a regular Sul'dam.

    All players who have a Der'Sul'dam are by definition a Training Staff member and are eligible to be a Leadership Staff member.
        Read the OOC Staff conditions to know what will be expected of you if you play a Der'Sul'dam.

    FL Staff reserves the right to demote your Der'Sul'dam to regular Sul'dam according to the needs of the Guild.
        This can occur in cases of long-term inactivity or neglecting the OOC Training conditions.

    Before RPing the Der'Sul'dam required RP you have to first gain the approval of the FL Staff to do so.
        Your permission will be reflected in your character's record thread at the Training Ground.

Promotion and Honor

The Sul'dam receives her promotion from one of the Blood or a senior Der'Sul'dam and is instructed in her new status among the people and her new responsibilities and privileges. She also receives her new assignment and is introduced to the people she will be working with or for.
