While it may seem that there is not much progression to be made for a damane, that is not the case. Newly leashed damane will need training in order to become ready to be used in battle or to become proficient in one of the other purposes a damane can be used for, like finding ores.
Progression in the One Power will go hand in hand with the progression in damane training, since damane are never allowed to use the One Power without being controlled by a Sul'dam. In the One Power subsection, you find information on how your damane's OP strength and skills are determined.
The following RP's must be played out before the damane can proceed to playing a part in any form of battle.
All RP's involving a damane's increase in the One Power
must be done while paired with a Sul'dam!
Damane Lesson One: Leashing and Discipline
The newly leashed Damane will first of all have to role-play her capture or leashing to a Sul’dam. This could be featured in the bio, but role-plays should start with their initial meeting to reinforce their bond. This will form the first lesson; Discipline, where the Damane will learn that she must not channel without the Sul’dam holding the leash and if she tries, there will be severe consequences. The Damane will learn how an A’dam works. Then she will be installed in her kennel, and given a new name more befitting of her rank.

Damane Lesson Two: Introduction and Social Statuses
From here there will be a lesson about each of the different elements, similar to that which a Novice would undertake at the White Tower. In this lesson, the Damane learns about Saidar and how it now affects her position in society. She will learn what she truly is.

Damane Lesson Three: Strength and Weaknesses
As training progresses, the next lesson will take the form of organized channelling, again with the Sul’dam present. In this lesson the Sul’dam will demand the Damane give a demonstration of her strength, and also find out if the Damane has any useful affinities that could change the course of her career.

Earning ribbons
Damane can further increase their status as 'good damane' by earning ribbons. This can be done through good behavior, doing a good job at a task, being a successful role model to a newly leashed damane or pleasing one of the Blood.
